IMPORTANT COVID-19 VACCINE REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The Province of B.C. launched its centralized COVID-19 vaccination system to replace the five health authority systems that were being used. This new system is a three point system; register, book and get vaccinated on www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca
All eligible British Columbians must register online; currently, this means anyone in B.C. 18+ who has not already registered at www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca
This also includes all British Columbians who received a COVID-19 vaccine in our pharmacy
NOTE: Registering and booking to get a shot are separate activities
Once you register, you will receive a reminder notice electronically by your preferred method of contact (email or text) to book your first dose OR second dose approximately 12 weeks after you have received your first COVID-19 vaccine; and before 16 weeks. The notice invites and alerts you that you have a month to book an appointment for your second dose and that you should schedule this appointment
To register patients will need:
- Personal health number (found on your BC Services Card, driver’s license or CareCard)
- First and last names
- Date of birth
- Postal code, and
- An email address that is checked regularly or a phone number that can receive text messages
Patients can also register through a provincial call centre between 7 am and 7 pm (Pacific time), toll-free, at 1-833-838-2323, or in person at their nearest Service BC location.
